Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on a stand,
and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light SHINE before
others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Welcome to SHINE! We are so very happy that you are here. SHINE is our middle and high school age
student ministry, where we walk along and encourage our students as they transition both emotionally and spiritually into young men and women of God.

We believe that this season of a young person’s life is such a very important time. This is where they start to
find their identity as a young adult. We believe that a strong relationship with our Lord and Savior is vital for them in forming their identity. With all the outside influences that they are exposed to, telling them who they should be and what they should do or say, we want to be there for them speaking the truth of who the Lord says they are.
 

Also, we try to instill and nurture their servant's heart. We are so often looking to see what benefits our
own selves that we don’t open our eyes and our hearts to the suffering world around us and how the Lord is calling us to help, just as Jesus teaches in Matthew 25:31-46. We do this by going out in our communities and serving those who are in need. We find this to be one of the funniest and most fulfilling things we do. It is such a blessing to be able to take part in these service projects.
